Customer Rating: Summary: Honestly, not that impressed with it Comment: Well, I believed the other reviews and as I'd already bought the songs from Twilight album, thought I'd try the soundtrack album too. But I wasn't really that impressed with it, sorry. I love Bella's lullaby, it's a beautiful piece of music, but the other stuff didn't really impress me that much.
Customer Rating: Summary: Awesome! Comment: This CD is so soothing, relaxing. Whenever I listen to it, I can remember the movie--which was awesome too!
Customer Rating: Summary: Haunting Comment: This is a beautiful score! I don't think there has ever been a movie that I've watched where the score took such a dominant role, almost like an extra character in the movie. The music truly gave meaning to so many of the scenes and it's lovely to listen to on its own. True Twilight fans will be able to hear the dialogue in their heads while listening!
Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing.. I love it Comment: I LOVE IT. I listen to it all the time. It may be a short cd but its amazing. Exactly what I thought it would be and im glad i purchased it
Customer Rating: Summary: Hated the movie but loved the score Comment: Unlike most people here, I am not a TWILIGHT fan. I've never read any of the books, and now, having seen the atrocious first movie, I have zero interest in trying.
(where, oh, where is the GREAT director of THIRTEEN, I wonder?)
But, as it's usually the case, Carter Burwell's music is a thing of beauty. Strongly evocative, it stays with you once you leave the theater, both for the intense percussion tracks and the quiet, languid ones.

Editorial Reviews:
|
Composed, orchestrated and conducted by the award-winning Carter Burwell, the Twilight score is a must-have companion to the movie experience. Burwell is a renowned composer who is well known for his work on most Coen Brother films, including The Big Lebowski, Fargo, Burn After Reading, plus films including Being John Malkovich, Gods and Monsters, and more.
