Customer Rating: Summary: Must Have // Must See Comment: This is a must have for any Pistols fan and a must see for anyone who doubts their brilliance or legacy.
And you'll want pie and mash when it's all through. ;)
Customer Rating: Summary: very fun...short set and interesting bonus movie(s) Comment: I wasn't really a fan in the day ...but they certainly had a big role in rock history and this concert is artfully filmed and presented. They play better than they did in their prime and certainly are NOT going through the motions..so its pretty cool if short (about 77 minutes for the concert). the bonus movies show the lads giving a tour of London which is a good value to add to such a short concert..and makes this a very good value at under 20 bucks. I could see myself watching this concert many times and the barely over an hour length lends itself to not having to make a night of it ...so sometimes Less is MORE...
I would imagine if you are a huge fan this would be a terrific addition to your collection!
Customer Rating: Summary: There'll Always Be An England! Comment: The Sex Pistols are in fine form in this, their first official concert DVD, recorded last year at Brixton Academy. They are obviously enjoying themselves, but the shots of the crowd are specially fun as you'll see everyone from young teens to older folks getting into the spirit (they seem to know the lyrics to all of the Pistol's songs as well as they do!) Yeah, I know - they're cashing in on their legendary status as punk icons, but hey - why shouldn't they? Better late than never - the first time around Malcolm Maclaren screwed them out of what little money came their way - now it's their turn. Long Live the Sex Pistols!

Editorial Reviews:

Ultimate punk icons, the Sex Pistols revolutionized rock 'n' roll with the epic anarchy and rawness of their sound and attitude, on record and onstage. For their first-ever authorized live DVD release, the band is captured during a five-night stand at London's Brixton Academy in Novemeber 2007. Featuring the original line-up of Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock, this DVD reunites the group with director Julien Temple. Recorded in HD/5.1 Surround Sound, this DVD also boasts a new 80-minute Temple-directed feature.
