Summary: FORGET TWILIGHT
Comment: This series (book/TV Show), is what Twilight SHOULD be. I'm sorry, but you can't have a Vampire series so watered down with lack of sex and gore, THAT'S WHAT VAMPIRES ARE, and that's what this series is. The show isn't like the books, but, eh, who cares. It's still good.

Comment: Does not follow the books but is still a great Show, and if you had the misfortune of reading the Twilight series you will soon forget the Epic Fail of Breaking dawn. And if you read the books you will see were Stephanie Meyers got her so called dream from. Meyers you FAIL! Harris is a great writer and story teller, READ THE BOOKS YOU WILL LOVE THEM

Summary: True Blood is Addictive
Comment: WOW...what a show. I saw it from it's very first episode and it grabbed me right away and never let go. The relationship between Bill and Sookie is HOT. I am anxiously awaiting season 2.
It's a fun way to step into a different kind of world for a while. I wanna move to Bon Temp and I don't even know if it's a real town :)

Summary: Love the books but find the show a disappointment....
Comment: I have read the whole series of books and couldn't wait til the marathon of the whole first season on HBO this week. After watching the first 3 shows, I wish I had never taped it to watch in the first place. When I saw it was directed by Alan Ball I knew there would be sex in every scene (he directed most of the Six Feet Under episodes, so I expected it). I saw more sex in the first 3 episodes of this show than I remember reading about in the whole 8 books I read! To me the show is nothing like the books and even though the show isn't bad, the books are much better. I don't think I will watch the rest of the episodes because if I do I will never be able to read the books again. The books are much more humorous than the show, cleaner and not sleazy like the show. I couldn't wait for the next book of the series to come out because there was a lot of suspense, but the show...well, I just know it will be more weird sex scenes and not much suspense. I think you will either like the books or the show but not both.

Comment: LOVE True Blood, but I want to buy it in the same HD broadcasts that I have been watching on HBO HD.
