Summary: Exactly What You'd Expect -- In a good way
Comment: If you like what Setzer does with his orchestra, and if you like lighthearted Christmas songs, you'll like this CD. The concert video is fun, but you probably won't watch it that often due to the lengthy digressions into self-indulgent speed-rockabilly.

Comment: Very different slant to the Christmas album , plenty of raunchy guitar alond with some neat big band arrangements. The DVD is a great bonus even if it looks a bit twee at times . I imagine that the impact would be far greater live on stage.
All things considered this is a good package, well worth the listen.

Comment: This CD/DVD combo is great! We watched it over the holidays a few times, all ages enjoyed the great show and awesome music. It is a crowd pleaser. If you like music, you'll love it. It is a lot of contemporary big band style with updated favorites, great tempo and style. I will buy future CD's by Brian Setzer.

Comment: This album will make Christmas funnier... The only negative thing I can come up with is..... Nothing.. Buy this one and support a GREAT orchestra. Music does not get more fun than this. Pure joy and all musicians seem to have a ball... I really wish that these guys and gals could come to Sweden and play... What a live band..

Surfdog Records presents the ultimate Brian Setzer Orchestra holiday package. The CD includes the brand new 'Best Of' collection featuring two previously unreleased tracks, and the DVD contains a full length BSO holiday concert filmed in December 2004 at L.A.'s sold out Universal Amphitheatre. It's a full 1 hour and 40 minute show, with added backstage footage and behind the scenes work with Brian and Crew. This is the same concert film that was broadcast on PBS stations during the 2006 fundraising drive.
