Comment: I am a big Ledisi fan so I expected a wow factor, needles to say it just didn't happen. The CD was so so and nothing to write home about.

Summary: Ledisi's Christmas cd
Comment: This is not your typical Christmas cd. There are traditional songs but the arrangements are anything but. Her vocals are fascinating. The music is so lively. I listened to this cd the most this Christmas season. I highly recommend it.

Summary: LEDISI DOES IT AGAIN......
Comment: Ledisi is simply......AWESOME. As someone stated earlier in a review, it was love at first sound when I first heard "Alright" on the airwaves. After purchasing Lost/Found, I was in search of her earlier music (Soulsinger & Feeling Orange,But Sometimes Blue). I am a lover of Christmas music. When I learned that Ledisi had a Christmas CD coming out, I just had to have it. "It's Christmas" stays in constant rotation in my CD player. Ledisi's effortless vocals remind me of the TRUE Reason for the Season. Her version of "Silent Night" is HOTTTTTTT! My second favorite song is "This Christmas". Once again, Ledisi does her THANG...I had to pleasure of being in her presence 12/19 @ BB Kings in NYC. She never ceases to amaze me. Great show, Led!

The past year has been a whirlwind for Ledisi: Grammy® Award nominations for Best New Artist and Best R&B Album, an appearance in the feature film Leatherheads (staring George Clooney and Renee Zelwegger), TV appearance on CBS Saturday Early Show and two appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno with Prince and Sergio Mendes, three hit tracks - "Alright", "In The Morning" and "Joy." The new 12 track Christmas album includes many holiday favorites. Also includes 5 original songs written for the album.
