Summary: A good product
Comment: I purchased this product after comparing it with the HP officejet 6480. I chose this one because of networking problems and software problems associated with the HP. The networking setup was a breeze on two laptops - the instructions were really pretty good.
The printing is really fast.
My only complaint and what keeps me from giving this printer a five star rating is the deceptive "double-sided" printing capability. This is not a duplexer as I assumed it was. In order to print double sided you have to print on one side, flip the paper, reload it, and then hit resume on your computer. Even in a house with multiple computers where the printer is a few rooms away, this is impractical.
Otherwise, a really great home and small office printer.

Comment: I purchased the epson workforce 600. It was delivered this afternoon. I opened the box and it contains everything but the catridges and phone cord. I don't know how to speak to someone at amazon.com. What is their phone number? The machine looks used. Please don't order this product from amazon.com. They are not honest.

Summary: Easy to set up & works great!
Comment: Really happy with this purchase. Set up was easy & did not take long - DO just read the manual and follow it step by step. I set mine up on my home wireless network. Scans to the desktop, both from the glass and from the auto doc feeder. Copies, prints wirelessly. I'm not using the fax function so I haven't tested that. Also comes with a decent set of software (I've been doing some OCR today), but it's not too intrusive. For the price, I'm thrilled.

Summary: Fantastic machine - albeit with a few drawbacks
Comment: I'll respect the concept of brevity with my review. The functionality is fantastic, and it is accomplished without the burden of an 800 meg set of drivers, as is such with the HP counterparts. HP multi-functions seem to have better build quality, and are structurally superior, but after the behemoth driver loads, I was dissuaded from purchasing another one.
This machine is fantastic. A little cheap feeling, but for the price there is nothing that comes close.
BTW: The scan direct to USB flash drive feature is hands down the best attribute of the machine.
Kudos to Epson for making a machine that is working class, but quality.

Comment: I bought this printer to replace the hp all-in-one that was MUCH more trouble than it was worth. This works great, doesn't do anything bazaar, the hp required software twice because the included software was corrupt. They knew this, but waited for the customer to contact them. Great service. Anyway, this printer works great out of the box, no problems. You can buy large black ink cartridge to keep costs down. Has not paper jammed or anything, wifi works perfectly with XP. No complaints.
