Summary: good suction, noisy and heavy, maybe with a nano type batterie is good for household.

I bought it to vacuum the food after my baby..which he trows it on the floor and spills water too.. you know all that.
it's noisy as a regular household vacuum :) but its a vacuum.

Comment: This is a very rugged vacuum that has a convenient battery recharge system, detachable hose and a large dust container. The suction performance of this vacuum is very weak though. I was very disappointed. I once had this side by side with a shark hand vacuum and the suction of the shark blew this away. It wasn't even close.

Comment: loud, but unlike other cordless dustbusters, this one is actually useful. plan on using hearing protection for anything more than a second or two.

Comment: Great vacuum, but just a word of caution. This version *does not* come with a battery or charger, so make sure you already have an 18v DeWalt tool. Either that or spend $50 more for the model that does include the battery. Replacement batteries are over $100.
