Summary: Great album, classic Madonna
Comment: This album is a mix of Madonna's roots in dance pop with a little street edge. Some of the tracks in the middle of the album depart from this and frankly seem a little out of place, but overall it is fantastic.

Summary: Sounds Like American Life.....Remixed
Comment: Madonna's most recent effort was released to a lot of hype on the heels of the single "4 minutes". Well, dont believe the hype, this album is just about as dissapointing as american life, though nothing can take that albums place at the top of the crappy album hall of fame. There arent any really memorabale performances here, and it sounds like madge is trying to cater to the urban music crowd and stave off the big 5-0. This is Madonna as Keyshia Cole and it dosent work.

Comment: i grew up on madonna and as time goes by, she gets better and better. this album is a good example of that. i don't pay attention to that "reinventing herself" stuff. its the music that is not reinvented but evolving and adapting to the sound of popular culture, as long she likes, madonna can keep putting out music that people will enjoy
