Summary: Excellent TV for the price
Comment: Before making this purchase I was looking to buy either a Samsung or Sony LCD television. I am glad I went with Samsung, the colors are great, the contrast is great and the price is great. We all enjoy the TV and Movie experience. I also got a Samsung BD-P2500 to play DVD and Blu-Ray disks. I personally think that this TV beats the over priced cousin Sony. I picked this model instead of 750 and 850 because it was affordable and I didn't really care for some of the newer features. I would recommend 650 over 550 as the technical specs are better like 4ms response time.

Summary: Great TV, Great Deal especially with Free Blueray player
Comment: TV arrived this morning. Works perfectly. I had no issues with a glare in a bright room. Sound quality is very good. Picture is amazing. I also got a free blu-ray player though a sort of hidden amazon promotion. I didnt see the promotion until it almost ended, but it looks like they reupped it. If you get the tv look at this blu-ray player (Samsung BD-P1500) and see if the same $200 off promotion still applies. The promotion now and then appears on the front page of the electonics site. Great deal. I haven't hooked up the blu-ray yet because I have no DVDs. You will not find a better price. White glove delivery was very prompt. I ordered the TV Monday morning and I could have had it delivered yesterday (Friday) but I had to work and postponed it to today. The blu-ray arrived Wednesday. Hope you buy and enjoy! Summary: Great TV, Great Service
Comment: We have been trying to decide for a long time which HD TV to buy. We decided to go with a Samsung after our daughter and son-in-law bought a Samsung. Amazon had the best price and selection for what we wanted. We were nervous about buying from mail order, but the white glove service was fantastic! They arrived at our home when they said they would, they unpackaged the TV and made sure it worked. They let me look it over for scratches and I didn't find a one. I would not be afraid to buy from Amazon when White Glove service is offered. Another great thing was the shipping was free. The Television was very easy to set up, instructions were great. I had it set up and working in about an hour. The picture is great, it has lots of input options. All in all this was a great purchase.

Comment: Very happy with this TV, and the deal was great. HD picture is bright and detailed, SD picture is good also. Sound is good, 1080P & 120 hz along with other features like internet capability means this TV won't be obsolete for years. Best price I've seen around Orlando is around $2000 plus tax. Don't be afraid of shipping it, arrived in perfect shape at my door.

Comment: I still can't get over the picture quality of this TV and it's been a month since I got it. I am truly impressed!! I really don't have anything but good things to say about the TV.
I have another Samsung TV, a 56" DLP 1080p TV that is a few years old now. Though it may be a few years old, it has been holding it's own in terms of video quality for quite some time. It always looked much better than my friend's TV's. That time has now passed. When I watched Planet Earth in HD on the old Samsung, I was very impressed then. But now that I have the new TV, I decided to re-watch Planet Earth on the new TV. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! I was shocked at the improvement. The color, the vibrancy, the whites, the blacks, the DETAIL and sharpness, the fluid motion with no jaggies. It almost brought a tear to my eye, that's how good it looked. It's got it all I am happy to report. Samsung really got it right with this TV.
If you are on the fence about this TV like I was (before I bought it), I say buy it. You won't be sorry you did. It's a fantastic TV and I can do nothing but highly recommend it.
