Summary: Failure to resist gravity
Comment: I've owned one of these before so I didn't have much in the way of expectations for this product. My prior magnetic erase board died slowly; the pen eventually stopped working and the ink caked onto board. As low as my expectations were for this product I was unprepared for a failure as basic as the one I experience after receiving this product from Ace Hardware. The magnets on this product were so weak it would not support its own weight.
Slug-like it would slide slowly down my refrigerator toward the floor. Resembling an over-eager and mentally diminished dog that has learned a single trick and performs it ad nauseum regardless of whether you punish or reward it, this product was relentless in it's quest for the floor. Even when I placed the two additional magnets that come with the product (to be used to pin paper to the white board or another metal surface) to keep the board from sliding down the refrigerator, the product's suckitude persevered and managed to shove these makeshift help-stay-up magnets out of the way, succeeding in crashing to the floor in a noisy heap of failure and shame.
I could probably package this up and ask Ace Hardware for another one, but honestly it's such a colossal piece of crud that I refuse to put any more effort into ordering something this poorly made from anyone. I will go to a brick and mortar store where I can look someone in the eye and ask them, "Will this thing actually stick to my refrigerator?" If it does not I will at least have the satisfaction of calling them out on their lies face to face.

Comment: This board is basically a piece of corrugated cardboard with a shiny side and a flimsy plastic frame around it. Even though the board is very light, the magnets provided are very weak and the board slides all the way down the refrigerator in less than 60 seconds. If the pen cap is placed on the back end of the pen (while writing) it pulls out the bottom end cap when removed, and needle nose pliers are required to pry it out. Overall this is a dollar store quality item, and that's where it should be sold, not Amazon. After adding in the $6.50 in shipping, what seemed like a great deal now feels like a regret.

Summary: Magnetic Dry-Erase Board
Comment: I had a very old, worn out dry-erase board and decided to buy a new one. After many unsuccessful shopping trips to various stationary stores, including Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, Hallmark stores, I decided to try on-line and lo and behold, there it was on Amazon. I ordered the product, it was quickly delivered, and I have it on my refrigerator looking nice and clean and being extremely useful to my household.

Summary: A Lot of Bang for Your Buck
Comment: We purchased 6 of these dry erase boards and we love them. We use them in our shop for machine turnover notes. There are some cool features the original description did not mention. The dry erase marker that comes with the board has a small eraser on the cap and a small magnet that is magnetic to the board. You don't have to use the clip if you are in a hurry. The marker is a nice size for guys in the shop. You have the option to mount the dry erase board with adhesive strips or magnetic ones. We choose to use the magnetic strips so the boards could be taken off the machines when the machines need to be wiped down. We are using these dry erase boards in an industrial environment so we are a little concerned how the plastic around the dry erase board will hold up due to the coolant used in our machines. The coolant can break down some plastics causing it to become brittle or gummy but we will see. If you need versatility, this is a great product. Bravo to the designer of this item.
