Summary: hardwood floor chair mat
Comment: This is an relatively inexpensive solution for home office with a hardwood floor. It is not particularly attractive, but it works with an office chair on wheels and a desk. We had to wedge it under the desk so it wouldn't move with the chair, but once we did that, it does the job and protects the floor.

Comment: THE MAT HAS A CENTER FOLD CAPABILITY WHICH MAKES IT EASY TO SHIP, PLACE AND PLACE CHANGE. ALL I COULD ASK FOR. IT IS FINE WHEN PLACED ON A CARPET. IF PLACED ON A FLOOR IT COULD CAUSE TRIPPING BY AN UNSTABLE PERSON.

Summary: Functional Chair / Floor Mat for the money...
Comment: This is a good floor mat for the money. I would recommend this floor mat if you have an office chair that is on the smaller size. I underestimated how big my chair is, Steelcase Leap Chair, and it barely covers enough. I would think the Herman Miller Aeron chairs would also have this problem. If you a chair of equal size, then go with the bigger size mat as its a PIA to return this and you probably will end up just keeping it and making due.
Mine also came folded vertically. I've seen similar chair mats at Staples and Office Depot folded in a simliar way so it is common but be aware that yours will most likely come folded as well and the crease is permenant and probably the weakest stress point on the mat. They really should show this in the photo or put that in the item description.
Mine is also a blueish tint but it is not an eyesore in any way and it is somewhat transparent.
I have added a photo which shows you what the mat looks like as you would receive it reflecting both the fold and bluish tint.

Comment: What they didn't tell is that this is folded in the center and it buckles a bit in the center when on the hard floor. Perhaps it will flatten out with time.

Comment: Good, durable quality chair mat but not as clear as I thought it would be. You can hardly see the hardwood floor underneath as the pics show but overall satisfied.
