Summary: Good and Scary
Comment: A Haunting is a documentary series that explores allegedly true tales of hauntings, ghosts and the paranormal. Each show is composed of very well made and atmospheric reenactments interspersed with eyewitness interviews. Overlaid over each story is the creepy, measured voice of a narrator who describes the events. The show is exceptionally effective. Most episodes have at least some unnerving moments and some episodes are downright scary. Viewers interested in the paranormal should love this series as should people who like horror movies.
Below is a short description of each episode in Seasons 1 & 2. The number in parentheses is my "scariness rating"; scale = 1-5 with 5 being the scariest. Minor spoilers throughout.
The Lake Club Horror - The unsettled ghost of a bartender frightens the owners and workers of a nightclub (2)

Summary: Scary as Hell...Creepy, Eerie Show. Highly Recomended
Comment: This show is scarier than any horror film you will ever see. Facinating true stories of families who encountered the supernatural in haunted houses and haunted bars and clubs. Remarkable attention to details, great narration, great acting. Watch this alone and you will be be creeped out of your mind. I have purchased all 4 seasons of this show and love it. Much better than all those other ghostly shows out there. A real horrifying experience for the viewer, but not as much as those poor people who lived through these chilling experiences.

Summary: Spooky reenactments of true paranormal occurrences!
Comment: I am a fan of supernatural stories, especially true accounts and found "A Haunting :Seasons 1 & 2" to be a top-notch production. The series originally aired on the Discovery Channel and reenacts true paranormal occurrences as experienced by ordinary folk. The narrator does an excellent job of setting up the stories and the actual reenactments are all the more credible as they are filmed in the real-life locations where the incidents took place - that itself is creepy. Many episodes featured here had me spooked and if you enjoy true life accounts of actual hauntings and other paranormal phenomena, then this show comes highly recommended!
