Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Makes a meager performing phone a superstar! Comment: I was displeased with nearly every aspect of the VX8600 shortly after the initial purchase. I had poor reception- even within eyesight of cell towers, low signal strength, and extremely short battery life. I had to condition myself to limit calls to just a couple minutes, otherwise I would lose the call and have to plug in to resume. Of course this assumes I could even make/receive a call in the first place. So instead of buying a new $100+ phone I decided to try a new battery first since the price was right and physically the phone was still perfect. I must say, this was the best $8 I ever spent. The reception is loud, clean, and clear. Signal strength is maxxed everywhere I go and I no longer have dead spots in my home or office. Best of all- battery life seems limitless. I charge the battery out of principle now rather than necessity. Do yourself a favor; buy this battery. The only regret I have is not buying it sooner.
