And here I thought Angel had gotten as good as it can get! But no, I was gladly proven wrong. Season 5 was amazing. The addition of Spike to the cast was a brilliant move and I just wish he played a bigger role. (Also, still waiting to find out if he got Shanshu or not!) Smile Time was the best episode of the entire series, IMO, funniest, sweetest, most perfect thing ever. [Course, then we all had to get our hearts broken by the next episode...] I really need to get the comic continuation, cause I'm dying to find out what happens next!

Comment: Being this season was the last one so they had to shake up the show. This season has some laughs provide by Spike. Didn't care for what they did to the Fred character though. But all in all it is Angel how could you go wrong.

The Angel Investigations team is stunned when the Senior Partners of Wolfram and Hart give them control of the L.A. office. The gang quickly moves in, and although everyone is delighted at the amazing resources they now have at their command, they can’t stop wondering what the catch is. But the biggest mystery of all revolves around a small package Angel receives containing an amulet and a handful of dust—which coalesces into a very-much-alive Spike.
