Summary: Great deal
Comment: These earplugs are the type that you roll to compress, and then let expand in your ears. They are tapered and fit better than the cylindrical yellow kind. They do a great job of blocking out noise, and seal well when they expand. You can pinch them to relieve the pressure when removing them, but pull them out slowly anyway since that does not always work.
The description says 200 earplugs, but it's 200 pairs. At 50 cents a pair in local stores, they are a good deal, provided you save them for reuse, be careful with them, don't hand them out to others, and use them occasionally. Amazon's price fluctuates, but if you can get them at [...], that's about 3.5 cents a pair. Now I can keep spares just about anywhere and give them away without worrying about whose ears they've been in.

Comment: They do what they are supposed to do. You have to crush them down pretty tight and press them in far. When they expand they do a good job at blocking louder sounds, I can still hear people talking if they are close by. they are comfortable enough to wear for hours on end.

Comment: These are great - individually packaged in a hundred separate pairs, these are very effective and very inexpensive. I'm used to going in to Walgreens or Rite-Aid and paying $4 or so for 10 pair, so this is one heck of a great deal. Comfortable, too, once you get used to this type of earplug.

Comment: Whether one is doing work in the shop or blocking out excessive snoring, this product goes the distance. The rounded, tapered tip variety is made of soft foam and definitely delivers a quiet and comfortable protection without the fuss of mounted headsets. The Amazon price of $6.49 is a sweet deal.

Summary: good for noise reduction in home settings
Comment: My husband snores loudly and I've been using ear plugs for the past ten years to sleep more soundly. These ear plugs worked just as well as others I've used at a NRR 29 rating, but at a fraction of the drugstore's cost of $10 for a 50-ct. pkg. They come individually-packaged so they're easy to take when traveling, too.
