Summary: Strong little magnets
Comment: I needed small magnets to hold up some pictures on a sheet of stainless steel for wall decor. They're small enough so as not to distract from the photos and they're coated too for added aesthetics. Because they're strong suckers and they're thin, I'd recommend SOME nail length to pry these apart. These magnets are also way cheaper from AMAZON. At a local craft store, I saw similar magnets for 4 dollars for a pack of 6!

Summary: FANTASTIC!!
Comment: Bought for a magic trick and found I only needed 2 of these tiny magnets due to their incredible strength! Not sure what I'll do with the other 48, but they're fun to play with anyway!!

Comment: Handy to have around the house for projects and whatnot. Well-packaged so they won't f-up your electronics/credit cards.

Summary: Please use adult supervision
Comment: These magnets are unbelievably strong. When I opened the package they literally jumped out of my hand and pinched my other hand. The magnetic field is so strong it is almost visible. (not really) Please be cautious around children I'd hate to see what happens if one or two were ingested. They will also RUIN a television or monitor in short order trust me please. Just don't go there. These aren't just powerfull magnets. They are amazing. I'm going to buy more. Everybody gets rare earth magnets for Christmas 08. The countersunk ones are great for hanging tools, pictures, door latches on cabinets etc. Refrigerators. Fingernails required.

Editorial Reviews:

Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. They are amazingly powerful for their size and have innumerable uses. These disc magnets are 0.250 inch (6.4mm) diameter and 0.100 inch (2.5mm) thick. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of grade 40 neodymium iron boron magnetic material and are plated in nickel-copper-nickel for a shiny corrosion resistant finish. Their individual pull force is approximately 2 lbs. Maximum working temperature is 176 F (80 C). Magnets may chip and crack if allowed to snap together
