Summary: It's all here
Comment: I have to confess I haven't watched every episode on the set yet or all the extras, but they are all included and look and sound as good as one would expect from an old TV cartoon.
The only problem I have is that the commercial edits weren't pulled from the episodes, and there is no way to play them continuously so the opening and closing credits aren't shown with each epsisode.

Summary: Robotech como lo recuerdo y mejor aun
Comment: Vaya que han pasado para mi cerca de 20 años que conoci por primera vez Robotech y que quede fascinado por lo que mis ojos castos (en ese tiempo) pudieron apreciar. Desde 2006 me entere de esta nueva version y tuvieron que pasar por una u otra razon practicamente 2 años para poder adquirirla a través de Amazon, y facilmente puedo decir que esta colección me hizo revivir aquellas viejas epocas. Francamente este set de DVDs muestran la serie en su maxima expresión y los extras amplian mas la experiencia.
Regularmente leo comentarios que dicen que la serie original Macross con todas sus continuaciones es mejor que Robotech, pienso que tienen toda la razon, pero con Robotech a pesar de ser una mezcla de 3 series totalmente diferentes creo que se hizo un excelente trabajo con los 85 episodios aunque tenga algunas incosistencias, incluyendo ultimamente The Shadow Chronicles.
Recomiendo ampliamente este SET sea el ultimo o no que vayan a sacar, y a su vez recomiendo al que lea este comentario que aproveche y se introduzca mas al universo de MACROSS, hay demasiado que explorar Y EXCELENTES COSAS POR DESCUBRIR.

Summary: Don't waste your time, get the original anime version
Comment: Robotech was good, but really confusing the way it combined completely three separate anime into one story! Add on that when you first watch it, you probably didn't even realize that ...
Save yourself some head scratching and horrible plot modification to make the three series "fit". Get the original anime series subbed/dubbed instead!
Or go find newer Macross titles like Macross Zero or Macross Frontier! (sadly only available as an import from Japan for now). Hopefully the legal issues with Harmony Gold claiming to own all Macross distribution internationally will be resolved so Macross Zero and Frontier will see US & European release!

Summary: GIANT ALIEN ROBOT ATTACK!!!
Comment: This is possibly the greatest animated television series ever made. Robotech is a long-running Anime series made of three separate Japanese cartoons that were stitched together and re-released with one continuous story-line that runs through the entire series, which is perhaps the best feature of the series. As the series progresses the characters age, they die, the fall in love, and they fight giant aliens in gigantic transforming robot-jets called veritechs.
A must for any Anime or Sci-Fi fan who is looking for the best of the best in melodramatic, action-packed, giant-robot cartoons!

Comment: Me encanto la coleccion, idioma español, buen doblaje, saga completa. Aun no termino de verla, pero hasta hoy ha valido la pena cada centavo pagado. Tal vez en los avances hubiera valido la pena los subtitulos en espanol, pero bueno, es buscarle la quinta pata al gato. La serie lo justifica

A massive alien battle cruiser crash lands on Earth in the midst of a bloody global war.
