Customer Rating: Summary: Whats up your butt? Comment: If ppl actually dont like this movie. I just have to ask one question. What crawled up your butt? of course this movie is predictable and its much better when your a kid, but this movie like for most is a nostalgia movie. So for all you ppl who could see through the predictable crap and thought they were so smart for understanding that they were watching a movie full of holes...good for you!, but for most I didnt give a crap about the holes, its about having a laugh. So get over yourself and have a freakin laugh, its a christmas movie...Darn scrooges...
Customer Rating: Summary: Classic Comedy Comment: This movie has always been a childhood favorite and I encourage everyone to buy Home Alone because the language is very mild and it's suitable for a family audience.
Customer Rating: Summary: Grandmother of Twelve Comment: This film has many lessons to be learned. I've used it to teach CCD classes, showing that people should not be judged by how they appear (the mean old man next door). Also that families should appreciate one another more, a lesson that is learned by Kevin. The interaction between the boy Kevin and the would-be burglars is over the top, but is much appreciated by kids twelve and under. The good guys win, and the bad guys go to jail. When he is most afraid, Kevin seeks sanctuary in the house of God, the place of ultimate safety. The persistance of Kevin's mother in her attempts to return home to her son shows the depth of a mother's love. She is rescued by the kindness of strangers who show the true spirit of Christmas in sharing their ride with her.
Customer Rating: Summary: One of the best comedys of 1990 and one of the funniest films from my childhood Comment: Home Alone was one of the funniest film released in 1990 and is still a Christmas classic to me , tweleve years later. Macaualy Culkin became a star with this film and Joe Pesci showed more acting talent om this film. The ending in the film is one of the funniest and when I have kids I'll show them this treasured classic.
Customer Rating: Summary: I'd go through alot of trouble like Harry And Marv did to get this DVD Comment: This dvd has alot of deleted scene's that made me feel like watching the first time all over again. There are awhole alot of features that were worth every penny, shipping and handling and waiting that was all worth it. Now I'm gonna go watch this film again.

Eight-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) has become the man of the house, overnight! Accidentally left behind when his family rushes off on a Christmas vacation, Kevin gets busy decorating the house for the holidays. But he's not decking the halls with tinsel and holly. Two bumbling burglars are trying to break in, and Kevin's rigging a bewildering battery of booby traps to welcome them!
