Summary: The Best 80's Movie Ever
Comment: Reckless is truly a classic but it does not get the critic it deserves. While the is about the quintessential good girl meeting bad boy, but the chemistry that Hannah and Quinn have comes across the screen as very authentic. It's the ultimate tale of two opposite attracts. The movie draws you into each one of their lives. It's dramatic, it's mysterous, rebelluous, and romantic. I am surprised it is not on DVD yet because unlike the other movies of the 80's I don't think Reckless is dated. It's a true classic.

Summary: Best Teen Film of the 80's....
Comment: This movie, in the words of the 80's, is Awesome... Just watched it again after getting my VHS copy today in the mail. Was just as good as I'd remembered it being... I remember, as a teen, thinking it was one of the erotic movies I'd ever seen and, 20 yrs later, I still think it's very erotic. Before it's time too in the fact that it has male frontal nudity, not real blatant, but enough to make it feel 'real'... Loved it! Can't wait for DVD!!

Summary: An ultimate teen movie
Comment: So much better than the new MTV, I watched this James Foley movie obsessively when it first came out on vhs years ago. The astonishingly beautiful couple of Aidan Quinn (Johnny) and Darrell Hannah (Tracey)work really well together as high school seniors who feed upon each others emotions. My favorite lines is when Johnny has forced his way into Tracey's house and upon seeing her parent's bedroom says "So this where they made you" in his low sexy voice.
You just have to see it because it is almost impossible to describe the atmosphere of this movie set in a cold little mountain town where the steel mill is the major employer and the fact that someone has a job is pretty remarkable. It has an amazing 80s soundtrack, a dance scene set to Romeo Void that is one of the best I have ever seen, a really great cast and full frontal by Aidan himself.
I dearly loved it when I was young and romantic so I bought it and rewatched it recently. I must say that maturity took the edge off my enjoyment, I was very concerned that Tracey was going to really regret riding off in the sunset with an attractive but very angry kid from a really bad home life with a tendency towards violence (I think that Jackson Browne was abusive toward her in real life also). However, if I were seventeen again and Aidan Quinn had showed at my door on a motorcycle looking very punk in his father's suitcoat and a narrow tie, bearing a corsage he had thoughtfully dyed black to take me to the high school dance, I too, would have put on my cheerleader jacket and climbed on back for ride of a lifetime.

Comment: I'm still waiting for the movie released on DVD. If you love the eighties, Reckless, is a movie not to miss. Also the soundtrack to this movie is so good, you have songs from Inxs, Romio Void, Kim Wilde and several other artist. I want my DVD! VHS is a gas! Hahaha!! Have a good day.

Summary: One of my favorite movies....
Comment: I absolutely love this movie for many reasons. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a hopeless romantic. This is one of Aidan Quinn's best movies. I hope it gets released on DVD soon!!!
