A couple days after he received it we took a road trip and I read a good portion of it to him as we drove! It kept us going and really made time fly by! We are both big fans of the Nug's views on many subject and how he delivers his thoughts on those subjects! You will not be disappointed when you read this book! Customer Rating: Summary: The Nuge for president Comment: This book should be required reading in every high school and college across this once great nation. Maybe it will wake up young America and we can get back to the plan that the founding fathers had for this nation.. This book will surely drive libs crazy, mainly because it is filled proven facts on how liberal policy and political corectness is destroying this country. Parents, buy this book for your kids. I was upset when I was finished. Could not get enough.Class is in. Read it, learn it, live it! Customer Rating: Summary: Liberals BEWARE! Nuge for President Comment: What an eye opening book! A no-nonsense, full steam ahead, rock and roll view into the ever increasingly disturbing government shortcomings that have a once great America struggling to keep its head above water. Not for the weak of heart; this book exposes of all the bureaucratic mumbo jumbo that prevents the US from being able to move forward. Although at times Ted's views / countermeasures seem over simplistic (Ted says so numerous times), a common sense approach to running this country is exactly what we need. Every red blooded American should read this book and share its ideals with everyone they know. Young people should be required to read it (along with several other works) so that they can fully understand the situation our country faces and that ultimately their generation will be responsible in helping dig the US out of the giant abyss that has become our government. The United States of America is the greatest country in the world, but is heading in the wrong direction. God bless Ted and his overwhelming drive to exposed the wrong doings of our elected government officials (our employees)! Anger is a gift, channel it, use it as a tool to make a difference. We are the only ones that can vote these idiots out of office and make America a better place. There are too many "sheeple" in the world, but with a few more shepards like Mr. Nugent, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Customer Rating: Summary: Truth Sayer in Rock and Roll Comment: Humorous and maddening, the chapters of this book will make you feel something if you read it. Ted Nugent has lived energetically and argumentatively. His high decibal music is paralleled by his highly controversial political views; unfortunately, he is extremely right about many things. While he will be scorned by liberals who will never read this book, those of us who do read both sides of an issue will recognize too much common sense to be ignored in his clean-cut approach to problem solving. Comment: While a lot of people are turned off by Teds over the top delivery , if you sit down and read his manifesto while looking past the macho strutting style , you would be hard pressed to find one thing in this book that a common sense , intelligent , productive U.S. citizen would disagree with . From his tough love yet respectful ideas on parenting to his handling of criminal aliens to his thoughts on personal responsibility for your health , your debt , your interactions with others,lifestyle choices, etc .
