Customer Rating: Summary: NOT WHAT YOU THINK Comment: This book is misleading. This book is about his accident and recovery, not about his time in heaven.
Customer Rating: Summary: Engaging story Comment: 90 Minutes in Heaven: An Inspiring Story of Life beyond Death by Don, Piper is a moving story of one man who experienced death for 90 minutes after a fatal car crash. It happens over 40,000 times a year on our highways but regrettably most of those people don't come back with a fantastic story. Don Piper saw the glories of Heaven, some of the people who inspired him in this life and what he describes as true peace. We all hope to experience that someday but we get a glimpse of it now from Pipers' story. I hope it makes people think of how we must all die someday but our soul will go on. It goes on to reap what we sowed.
By the way, I see from reading the reviews on this site some people have recommend my book, "The Enlightenment, What God Told Me After One Million Prayers: A Message for Everyone," and again I just want them to know how much I appreciate their recommendation, especially at such a excellent site. I wrote this book out of love and for the glory of God and Jesus, not for my own fame or fortune. I welcome people to read my book, I'm sure you'll find this non-fiction account of a loving God just as and inspiring.
Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: I think the title of this book is misleading. There are only 7 pages about heaven. The rest of the book is about his suffering from his accident. While I am sorry that happened, I am disappointed that the book was called 90 MInutes in Heaven with only a few pages telling about it. I think its misleading and trickery. It should say "90 minutes in heaven with only 7 pages to tell about it and then the rest of the book is about my suffering here on earth".
Customer Rating: Summary: 90 Minutes in Heaven Comment: A fascinating look into Heaven but more importantly, a look into humanity and how one man took tragedy and turned it around to the benefit of his fellow man.
Customer Rating: Summary: Interesting but light on the "heaven"' experience. Comment: Not a bad read but hardly as inspiring as many NDE type of books. Believable but too much time spent in "recovery" mode and how the author rehabilitated himself. It's like being disappointed at a carnival after spending your hard earned .50 to get into a show on "weird"" people. May be a decent expenditure if this is your first attempt into this type of writing.

Now available in beautiful gift edition, 90 Minutes in Heaven is the runaway bestseller about one man's experience with death and life. As Baptist minister Don Piper drove home from a conference, his car collided with a semi-truck that had crossed into his lane. Piper was pronounced dead at the scene. For the next 90 minutes, he experienced the glories of heaven, where he was greeted by those who had influenced him spiritually, and he experienced true peace. Back on earth, a passing minister who had also been at the conference felt led to pray for the accident victim even though he was told Piper was dead. Miraculously, Piper came back to life. For years Don Piper kept his heavenly experience to himself. Finally, friends and family convinced him to share his remarkable story. An inspiring and encouraging account, 90 Minutes in Heaven continues to touch and comfort millions of people around the world as it offers a glimpse of inexpressible heavenly bliss. This makes perfect gift of hope for those struggling to understand a tragedy or loss of a loved one.
