Customer Rating: Summary: Right on the nose Comment: If you're thinking, why do I need a book for women...isn't anything to do with finances universal? Then you NEED this book... Read it, you will thank me.
Customer Rating: Summary: Women & Money Comment: This is a self help book that I am actually reading all of and making true effort to put some of Suze's suggestions to use. I was already doing some of what Suze suggested and needed some guidance on some additional financial plans and she has provided the help that I needed. I recommend this to women of all ages and even men.
Customer Rating: Summary: Helpful advice Comment: This was a great book to help women understand some of the psychological issues we face when dealing with money. I learned where the root of some of my money troubles lie and how to start to take control. It's a great companion to Suze's other books which deal with budgeting, debt, and investing. Thanks Suze for writing a fun and insightful book.
Customer Rating: Summary: Best Advice About Money and Life Management Comment: I'm using this as a text in an Intro to American Business course that includes a section on Personal Finance. Go online and take the Orman assessment to uncover the 5 areas you need to concentrate on. There is a 5-month plan that will straighten out your finances, credit cards, FICO score, forms you should have completed (will, treatement wishes) and investments. Practical whether you're 18 or 80.
Orman said women don't understand finances and so they glaze over them. She's right. And we can't afford to be Bag Ladies so listen up both men and women. Our friend Dean read the book while he was visiting us this summer.
Customer Rating: Summary: Suze Ormans Women & Money Comment: The book is informative as well as written with honest advice. I will always have it for a reference.

Why is it that women, who are so competent in all other areas of their lives, cannot find the same competence when it comes to matters of money?
Suze Orman investigates the complicated, dysfunctional relationship women have with money in this groundbreaking new book. With her signature mix of insight, compassion, and soul-deep recognition, she equips women with the financial knowledge and emotional awareness to overcome the blocks that have kept them from making more out of the money they make. At the center of the book is The Save Yourself Plan—a streamlined, five-month program that delivers genuine long-term financial security. But what’s at stake is far bigger than money itself: It’s about every woman’s sense of who she is and what she deserves, and why it all begins with the decision to save yourself.
