OnlyMyEmail Awarded PC World's 2005 World Class Award
OnlyMyEmail's anti-spam solution has not only been included as an award recipient, but has also been ranked at 18th place out of the 100 best products.
Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) June 7, 2005 -- The July issue of PC World is now
shipping and includes the 23rd. Annual World Class Award
recipients.
Billed as "The 100 Best Products of 2005" the list covers a
wide variety of hardware, software and Web services, including two entries in
the anti-spam category.
OnlyMyEmail (www.OnlyMyEmail.com) has not
only been included as an award recipient, but has also been ranked at 18th place
out of the 100 best products.
Steven P. Burkett, Vice President of
Development at OnlyMyEmail comments “This is quite an achievement for us, and
coming in at just two spots below Google clearly speaks to the frustration that
all Internet users experience with the ongoing spam assaults against their email
accounts.”

This
latest award comes on the heels of OnlyMyEmail receiving PC Magazine's Editors'
Choice Award just a few months ago. Combined, OnlyMyEmail’s anti-spam technology
has now received the two top-honors from the two leading technology
publications.
Key to receiving both of the awards is OnlyMyEmail’s
exceptionally high spam capture rate in combination with minimum critical
false-positive results. While most anti-spam vendors will claim similar
filtering results, having actually delivered a blocking rate at 99.6% and above,
and without interfering with normal business email is a result that few, if any,
other anti-spam solutions can match.
Burkett summarizes the real-world
results delivered by the OnlyMyEmail.com system, this way: “While most
competitors look for simple solutions to the spam issue, what we’ve found over
the last three years is that there is no simple solution or easy short-cut to
solve such a very complex and dynamic problem.”
He continues: “In fact,
to achieve results at this level, OnlyMyEmail employs no fewer than 24 separate
layers of proprietary filtering technology, each tuned in a way to work with and
compliment the others. None of these approaches would work very effectively by
itself, and even the specific ordering of the anti-spam engines is critical to
reach this level of success.”
