Telephony Office-LinX unified communications solution at the Belgium office of
the Red Cross; the solution provides 24-hour telephone access to doctors across
the Benelux region in Western Europe. The goal of this project was to design a
system that would find available doctors for patients who required one after
regular hours within a specific region.

The system services
patients in the Belgium Antwerp region. Callers simply call a centralized
number, then enter their local area code to be immediately connected to a local
doctor on call. If no local doctor is available in the specified area code, one
is notified, or the system will automatically tell the caller the number to dial
or to say the emergency number.
