TeamExcel Awarded Contract for Colorado State Parks Computer System Support and Enhancements
TeamExcel, a leading Information Technology solution, staffing and services firm, and the Colorado Department of Natural Resources, State Parks Division, have announced that TeamExcel has been awarded the contract to support the current operation and maintenance of the PARKS computer system and to develop and implement future upgrades to the PARKS system and other related efforts.
(PRWEB) May 21, 2005 -- Colorado State Parks primary automated administrative
application is Parks Automated Record Keeping System (PARKS). The system tracks
and records all the financial transactions that are generated at each park. The
system is Internet Web based. There are 41 parks utilizing the system as well as
3 Regions, the Littleton Office, and the Division Denver Office. State Parks
collects over $15 million each year, which is recorded by each park into the
PARKS system and entered into the State general ledger (COFRS system).
Under the terms of the contract, TeamExcel was awarded one year of
services, with four one-year option renewals. TeamExcel’s support will include
maintenance programming of the existing code, support of the SQL database, help
desk support for each of the 46 PARK system user sites, network and PC support
at each location, user training, testing, quality assurance, COFRS interface
support, reporting, escalation, contract management, performance management, and
other future enhancements.
