Spiderhost Inks New Managed Services Contract
Central Florida Company to Provide Server Support for Motorola's Hellomoto.com in Latin America
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) May 25, 2005 -- Spiderhost, central Florida’s largest
privately held Internet service provider, is proud to announce a new agreement
to supply managed services and dedicated server hosting to Motorola, a global
leader in wireless, broadband and automotive communications technologies.
Spiderhost will provide Motorola with the required rack space,
collocation support, bandwidth and maintenance elements, including tape backups
and database recovery it needs to support its HelloMoto.com download servers in
Latin America.
Additionally, Spiderhost will support the operating
system (OS) and Oracle programming support associated with these
servers.
“We are extremely pleased to win Motorola’s business based on
our customer-focused pricing and support tools,” said Dale Frohman, Spiderhost
president. “Our Tier 1 hosting center ensures that Motorola and all of our
customers will be able to secure their data, and efficiently support their own
infrastructures -- or, allow us to do so for them.”
Spiderhost focuses on
business-to-business service and product offerings in the Central Florida area
including Orange, Lake, Volusia, Brevard, Seminole, and Osceola counties. The
company recently announced expansion of its DSL services to south Florida, the
acquisition of a local tier 1 data center, and a critical re-signing of its
connectivity deal with Genesis Communications -- home of ESPN
1080/1060.
