LogiXML continues its drive to build a portfolio of OEM customers
seeking to incorporate Web based reporting into their software and
services offerings McLean, VA and Branford, CT (PRWEB) August 8, 2005 -- LogiXML, Inc. (www.logixml.com) and
Prescient Healthcare Systems (www.prescienthealthcare.com) today announced that the
two firms have reached an OEM agreement that will add LGX Ad Hoc Report
Builder to the Prescient Vision solutions. Source : http://www.prweb.com/releases/2005/8/prweb268711.htm
Prescient Vision is
Prescient Healthcare System's flagship application, designed exclusively
for surgical facility management. As part of the OEM agreement, LogiXML
will add support of InterSystems' CACHÉ databases to its product
suite.
“LGX Ad Hoc is a perfect tool for business staff and
clinicians at surgery centers to use to query their database for
up-to-date patient information, schedules and a range of other data
managed by the Prescient Healthcare System," said Scott Palmer, CEO of
Prescient Healthcare Systems.
“LogiXML not only was able to offer
us an outstanding product on very favorable terms, but also demonstrated a
real commitment to us by adding support for Caché, the underlying database
system used by Vision,” he added.
In addition to its standard
software licensing programs, LogiXML is now offering OEM arrangements with
select software vendors that allow OEM partners to ship LGX products with
every copy of their products making LGX reporting products an integral
part of their solutions.
“Our partnership with Prescient
Healthcare Systems allows us to extend our zero-footprint, web-based ad
hoc reporting to Cache database users and software vendors. We believe a
true Web client is the model end users expect today and will demand in the
future. Prescient is the perfect example of a company that recognizes the
need and is acting decisively to meet the need,” said Arman Eshraghi,
LogiXML CEO.
LogiXML offers a complete set of report development
products for Web browser-based reporting. Besides LGX Ad Hoc Report
Builder for end user driven report development, LogiXML offers managed
reporting tools LGX Report, LGX Report Plus, and LGX Info. Software
vendors can deploy with their solutions to give their users packages of
canned reports.
The platform allows developers to connect with web
services and all major databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase,
MySQL, CACHÉ, etc., and can be deployed across any .NET architecture.
