ServiceCentral Certifies on Amdocs MobileVantage™ API for DDP/SQL System
Certification takes ServiceCentral deeper into the broadband industry
Atlanta, GA (August 14, 2005) – Today, ServiceCentral Technologies announced
the successful completion of certification requirements for Amdocs
MobileVantage™ 5.4 API. This move represents a major step toward
ServiceCentral's ongoing commitment to the broadband industry. As a coordinated
part of continuing efforts to integrate with various cable-specific billing
systems, ServiceCentral plans to become the leading workforce management system
in the broadband industry.
By providing a seamless integration with the
Amdocs DDP/SQL customer management and open billing system, which supports 17
million subscribers at cable system operators in the North America region,
ServiceCentral has created a powerful end-to-end workforce management
system.
ServiceCentral customers can now perform installations,
disconnects and service calls with unsurpassed efficiency by using the
MobileVantage real-time interface to request work-in-progress information and
provide updates to the DDP/SQL application. Providing real-time customer and
work order details, MobileVantage empowers field staff to up-sell and install
services from the customer's home – increasing revenue
opportunities.

handheld devices, so they no longer need to sit on hold for five or ten minutes

ServiceCentral plans to move on to the new Amdocs MobileVantage
