Cincinnati, Ohio, (PRWEB) July 8, 2005 -- The up and coming rock band Fickle
of Northern Kentucky is hitting the road July 9th for a four-city tour in the
Northeast. Having just played with such acts as Seether, Ra and Porcupine Tree,
the band is now looking to gain more recognition by touring. Fickle starts their
tour off in Portsmouth, OH at Noggins Pub on Saturday, July 9th. Then it’s up to
Boston, MA for a show at Harper's Ferry on July 12. The following day July 13,
Fickle performs at Grape Street Pub in Philadelphia, PA and then closes out the

Fickle is
a rock band comprised of four best friends who love playing music they have
created. Sure to be a name you'll hear in the future, Fickle hails from the
Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. With a sound born of many unmistakable
influences but unique enough that it is hard to label, Fickle promises the best
music they know how to make and a show you're sure to love. Fickle consists of
Brian Martin - Vocals/Guitar, Ian Mcgee - Lead Guitar, Dennis Dezarn -
Vocals/Bass, and Chris Mueller – Drums.
The four have found it difficult
to name any bands that they are similar to and are satisfied to say, “We are a
rock band. We play rock music.”
Fickle has been playing together for
three years and is now the premiere original rock band in the Cincinnati area.
Fickle has appeared at many venues in the Cincinnati area including Bogart’s,
The Madison Theater, The Mad Hatter, The Mad Frog, Top Cat’s, Southgate House,
The Barrelhouse Brewing Co., Sudsy Malone’s, York Street Café, RadioDown and The
Cavern. Other cities where Fickle has appeared include Lexington (KY),
Louisville, Columbus (OH), Boston, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and New York
City.
Fickle has shared the stage with such bands as Porcupine Tree (UK),
August Christopher and was the sole opening act for Seether at Bogart’s. The
band has played the Midwest Entertainment Industry Conference, the Fourth Annual
Thirsty Melon Music Showcase, the Second Annual Homegrown Music Fest and this
year headlined the First Annual LIVE ON! Concert to benefit the Aubrey Rose
Hollenkamp Foundation.
The band will begin recording its first
full-length album upon returning from the tour. Recording will be at Shepherd’s
Pie Recording Studios with Chris Schmidt. Fickle plans to resume touring as much
as possible this fall and winter. Dedicated to the craft of making music and
improving themselves each day, Fickle is aiming to make itself known by touring
near and far.
