Southern California MacFair 2004 Returns November 12-14 at Cerritos College
Southern California MacFair 2004 (www.macfair.org), the region's largest Macintosh event returns for it’s third year at Cerritos College in Norwalk, CA for three huge days, Friday-Sunday, November 12-14. Over 40 Mac companies, 35 Mac Seminars and 25 classes and workshops are planned for the weekend.
Norwalk, CA (PRWEB) November 9, 2004 -- Southern California MacFair 2004 (www.macfair.org), the
region's largest Macintosh event returns for it’s third year at Cerritos College
in Norwalk, CA for three huge days, Friday-Sunday, November 12-14. Over 40
companies are participating at the event including, MYOB, Provue Development,
MacAlly, Prosoft Engineering, MovieWorks, MacSupportExperts.com, SmartSound,
Softpress, Miraizon, Eazy Draw and many more.
An extremely popular
feature at the SoCal MacFair 2004 is our world-class hands-on and classroom
training workshops in state of the art Macintosh labs. Some of the top
instructors in the world will be teaching at this year’s event including: Adrian
Ramseier, Beverly Houwing, Colin Smith, Christian Boyce, Mike Descher. Over 25
workshops are being offered including most of the Adobe Creative Suite products
including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, many of the Apple Pro Products
including Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Motion. There will also be workshops
in Mac OS X Server and Client, Digital Photography, FileMaker Pro, AppleScript,
MovieWorks, iPhoto, MYOB and more. The full and half day classes taught by world
renowned instructors are very reasonably priced starting as low as $79. Due to
limited Macintosh stations in each lab, space is very limited. Advance
registration is encouraged.
New at this year's SoCal MacFair 2004, on
Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 we will be hosting a special "Education Technology
Symposium" track sponsored by AdTech. We will have numerous seminars
specifically designed for educators. On Sunday, November 14. 2004, we will be
hosting a special "eBay Sunday" education track. We will have seminars and
workshops by "eBay Education Specialists" and special exhibits by eBay Power
Sellers and eBay Trading Assistants.
Also new this year is Apple
Certified Pro Certification testing being held onsite by All4DVD, Inc an Apple
Certified Training Center. Attendees have the opportunity to become Apple
Certified in Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Shake, Motion and Logic upon passing
a two hour exam at the event.

Southern California MacFair 2004 is centrally located for all southern
California residents at Cerritos College - just a short drive from all major
California freeways. Hands-on workshops and classes are scheduled Friday-Sunday
November 12-14. The vendor expo and presentation seminars are Saturday and
Sunday November 13-14 from 10a-5p. Two day advanced online registration for the
vendor expo, presentation seminars and door prize entry is only $19, credit
cards accepted (save up to $21 off the daily onsite admission fee). Please use
