INSYSTEK CEO Presents on the Future of IT Management at Kansas Emerging Technologies Showcase
IT management software provider CEO discusses emerging technologies in the IT management marketplace with a focus on Common Information model (CIM) technology.
Topeka, KS (PRWEB) March 26, 2005 -- IT management solution provider,
INSYSTEK, Inc. CEO, Alex Turner will be presenting on emerging technologies and
the future of IT management at the upcoming Kansas Emerging Technologies
Showcase (ETS) on March 30th at the Topeka Capitol Plaza, Topeka,
Kansas.
“As both a participant and keynote speaker, we’re excited to be
involved in an event that emphasizes emerging technologies in this fashion”,
commented Alex Turner, CEO, INSYSTEK.
The Kansas ETS was created in an
effort to educate and expose the region’s IT workforce on those technologies and
providers that will enhance their business operations and increase efficiency
today and beyond. “The overall goal for this event is to provide a clear view on
the present and future of technologies and technology providers servicing the
region in the most productive environment possible,” stated Dennis Robinson,
Vice President of efm, Inc. who is producing the Kansas ETS. “We’ve worked
diligently with these IT Leadership Forums to identify current technologies they
deem relevant for the conference portion of the event - and also we’ve created a
targeted exhibit area that will focus on the solutions, services and products
offered and the companies and people who provide them in the
region.”
“The content of an event is extremely important to its relevance
and ultimately its success,” added Robinson. “The ability to hand pick
appropriate vendor participants is key to maintaining that relevance. To have a
leading IT management software company like INSYSTEK participating in the event
and supporting the Forums through this venue is a key in creating a private,
targeted and relevant showcase.”
INSYSTEK CEO, Turner will be focusing
his seminar on the Common Information Model (CIM) technology as developed by the
Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) - the organization spearheading
management standards and technologies in the IT Management industry. CIM
provides a common definition of management information for systems, networks,
applications and services, with these common definitions enabling vendors to
exchange semantically rich management information between heterogeneous systems
throughout a network.
“INSYSTEK adopted this particular technology for
managing desktops and severs in early 1999 and we are encouraged by the
overwhelming response we see to CIM technology by key players in the industry
today,” said Turner. “CIM capabilities simplify the management of diversified IT
environments, which in turn drives down associated organizational management
costs, increasing revenues, allowing INSYSTEK to deliver comprehensive IT
management solutions that provide a greater return on investment to our
clients.”
Alex Turner has 15 years of technical and managerial
experience in the IT management industry, and holds numerous industry
qualifications and certifications.
