TIS.kis Announces VAS Deal with BH Telecom

TIS.kis has closed a deal with the largest Bosnian GSM operator BH Telecom to provide them with the latest content management, download and delivery platform. The deal also includes a wide range of content.

Sarajevo, Zagreb (PRWEB) May 31, 2005 -- Under the Ericsson mobility world initiative TIS.kis has closed a deal with the largest Bosnian GSM operator BH Telecom to provide them with the latest content management, download and delivery platform. The deal also includes a wide range of content.

This has been the second consecutive joint venture between Ericsson and TIS.kis in the last 18 months. Both successes were realized via public tenders opened by BH Telecom, which makes TIS.kis the leading VAS (value added service) supplier in the region.

“In our opinion iFun is truly one of most complete content download platforms on the market. This is our second deal with BH Telecom and demonstrates how TIS.kis values and builds long standing relationships with customers,” commented Ivan Ostojic, Key Account Manager, TIS.kis.

The iFun platform has evolved from funSMS, funMMS and funJava which TIS.kis initially established themselves with within the region. iFun is a rich platform and has been adapted to provide a comprehensive range of features. Deserved recognition came when Vodafone partner Simobil (Slovenia) and VIPnet (Croatia) selected it to power downloads for Vodafone Live!

Closure of this deal firmly establishes TIS.kis's presence in the region and sets the iFun plaform as the regional mobile download standard applied in Simobil (Slovenia), VIPnet (Croatia), Eronet (BiH), BH Telecom (BiH), Promonte (Montenegro) and Mobimak (Macedonia), while more interest has been shown elsewhere for several more implementations before the year end.
