Information about new phones and their capabilities is distributed to the customers' servers every hour, so each installation of Enterflex will be able to support the new phones shortly after the release. The system identifies the phone model on the fly without the customer specifying the vendor and the model of her phone.

To support 1100+ phones, Enterflex needs as little as one 'master' audio file and three 'master' images. The resulting content compatible with a specific cell phone will be produced automatically. Enterflex uses sound synthesis provided by Unwiredtec Sound Engine to get PCM ringtones from polyphonic audio sources. You can use different versions of the same content, and Enterflex will determine the most suitable file and adjust its parameters if necessary. For ringtone adaptation Enterflex uses an industry-recognized conversion engine Ringtone Creator known for its flexibility and speed.

The new release of Enterflex further extends the content protection and preview functionality. Content providers and distributors are now able to use a powerful ticketing system compatible with Premium SMS and regular WAP Push. Issuing a ticket for each content download instead of revealing the actual content location helps provide better content protection and facilitates the downloaded content accounting and tracking. Enterflex can produce ringtone and image previews to give end users the feeling of the original content but make the previews unusable on the phones. The built-in Unwiredtec Impression Engine helps produce customizable ringtone previews in Macromedia Flash (R) format compatible with all modern web browsers.

Enterflex employs content adaptation strategies, which let customers dealing with PCM ringtones (“truetones”) get PCM content, and customers dealing with polyphonic ringtones get polyphonic ringtones back. Every installation can be configured further to adjust even the tiny details of the produced content.
