PresenterNet Showrooms Add New Online Promotional Capabilities
PresenterNet, provider of online interactive Web presentation services, today released a report on user-created applications enabled by the company's new Showroom feature.
Carlsbad, CA (PRWEB) August 23, 2005 -- PresenterNet, provider of online
interactive Web presentation services, today released a report on user-created
applications enabled by the company's new Showroom feature.
Showrooms
are unique Web locations automatically included in all PresenterNet user
accounts. Entering a Showroom, visitors can control and view a standalone slide
presentation at any time. The posted presentation may be a simple PowerPoint
file. It can also include PresenterNet's Interactive PowerSlides, and slides
built from MS Word, Excel, or PDF documents.
Though created as an
extension of the company's Media Asset Management system, Showrooms have added
numerous new applications to user programs. "We're very excited to discover how
innovative our users have been in leveraging Showrooms," said PresenterNet CEO
Doug Wolfgram. "We identified some inherent advantages beyond Media Asset
Management, and our users jumped on them immediately," he added.
A
PresenterNet report describes four common user applications now enabled by the
Showroom feature.
Entitled "User Applications with PresenterNet
Showrooms," the report is available at www.presenternet.com .
According to the report, the
advantages addressed by Showrooms are:
*
Anonymity—Viewable by people not ready to engage in
discussions
* Interactivity—Inclusion of interactive slides
that capture and store viewer inputs, responses or
requests
* Availability—Viewable by people at any hour of
any day
* Flexibility—Presentations may be changed
easily
* Utility—May be launched from a Web site, an email,
or an online ad
* Security—Users can select a password
protection option and can restrict printing or copying slides
"The real
value of this capability is that it addresses several areas where users have
been looking for solutions," explained Wolfgram.
