Connect Computing offers New Mandrakelinux Dedicate Server Software for Small and Medium Businesses migrating to Linux.

partnership with Mandrakesoft to offer Linux server software for small
businesses. Two new distributions offered are Mandrakelinux Dedicated File
Server, a Samba file server, and Mandrakelinux Dedicated Email Gateway, a
Postfix email gateway that comes with SpamAssassin and virus protection software
available.
Each is available now and cost under $1,000 which includes a
two year support/upgrade package.

The
idea is that all the tools needed to get a system up and running quickly are
included on the distribution. Currently, with other server software, you have to
install the server, then the email software, then the anti-virus software. The
Mandrakelinux Dedicated Email Gateway gives you all of this functionality with
the initial install which keeps the price down and means a faster return on
investment.
The Mandrakelinux Dedicated File Server includes Samba 3
which is compatible with all Microsoft Windows networks and the CUPS printing
system to manage printers.
