CompAmerica Announces it’s “Giant Killer” 17 inch Wide Screen Laptop
New Orca Xtv™ laptop, to be offered in Extreme P4 and Extreme LGA-775/PCI-Express form factors, some available now, some available later this year, is said to outperform and out-quality all other laptops in the PC industry.
(PRWEB) March 14, 2005 -- Based on CompAmerica’s (http://www.compamerica.com |
888-ASK-CSS-1) new GLASSVIEW WSXGA+ and WUXGA Screens in 17” diagonal format,
the new ORCA Xtv™ laptop boasts a 3.4GHz CPU (and later on: 3.6GHz CPU) with 2M
L2 Cache.
That’s the Extreme Pentium 4 from Intel, which outperforms
nearly any other CPU combination in the PC market. Unusual for a Laptop to have
the Extreme Pentium 4 as it may seem, the new model is said to be designed to
support “extreme multimedia and gaming” for presentation purposes in business,
government tactical systems, and advanced gamer usage. It includes some rather
innovative features for a laptop, including a Universal Television Tuner with
Remote, built in PC Camera for conferencing, 7 in 1 flash/memory card reader,
Hardware Raid 0/1, and a Subwoofer with 4 stereo speakers, for maximum viewing
and listening experience. An optional backpack, rolling backpack and top load
leather carry bags by Targus may be ordered with the laptop.
”The new
Orca Xtv laptop is designed to conform to Microsoft’s Media Player and Real’s
Real Player (and Apple’s QuickTime) standards for video playback, as well as new
8x and 12x DVD playback and recording. It’s a TV Studio, a Traveling Theater, a
personal entertainment system, a superior business platform and a highly
adeptable and flexible system for maximum function rolled into one! This unit
blows the doors off the current crop of Apple Laptops for video and recording
purposes..." stated CompAmerica's government products sales manager, Bob
Gray.
The new laptop comes in two forms: Standard and Extra. Here are
