Cedar Park, TX -- (PRWEB) June 8, 2004 -- LinuxElectrons(TM) has announced an
addition to the forums, “Teens on Linux”. The TOL (Teens on Linux) forum will
provide a tremendous asset and resource for teens seeking Linux, and for
furthering their knowledge of computers in general. The TOL forum is moderated
by LinuxGirl, a 13 year old who has been using Linux ever since she received a
laptop for Christmas last year.
“THE TOL forum (http://www.linuxelectrons.com/forum/index.php?forum=35) will
be a great stopping point on the Internet for teens interested in Linux. TOL
will provide a safe and secure hangout for teens to gather, share and relate
their experiences with Linux and computers in general” said Robert Thomas,
Senior Managing Editor of LinuxElectrons.
The TOL forum provides a safe
hangout for teens to gather on the Internet. Free from virus's and pornography
that are usually associated with IRC channels and other forum's. Parents can be
at ease knowing that their teen will not be exposed to adult content or other
dangers while surfing at the TOL forum on LinuxElectrons. The forum will be
moderated by LinuxGirl, and supervised by her loving and caring father, Robert
Thomas, Senior Managing Editor of LinuxElectrons.
“We can just hangout
and talk about Linux or other computer stuff. We don't have to talk about Linux
at all if you don't want. I just want to learn more about Linux myself.” said
LinuxGirl, Teens on Linux moderator.
