Autodemo’s Founder Continues to Receive Recognition
In the past five weeks, JC Stites, founder and CEO of Autodemo, has received three separate awards to honor him and his company.
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) November 3, 2004 - It has been a gratifying month for
Autodemo’s founder and CEO, JC Stites (www.autodemo.com). Over the course of five weeks, JC has
accumulated three separate awards of distinction for his work and his management
style. JC received the Technology Entrepreneur Award from The Technology Network
of the Greater Louisville Region, was placed on Business First’s Forty Under 40
list, and received a Work/Life Alliance Award from Greater Louisville, Inc.
“I joke with clients by saying that we're in the
‘high-tech capital of Kentucky,’ but in reality I know that having a
headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky has strategic advantages. Because of the
quality of life, people want to live here, so it's easy to find qualified
employees that don’t leave the company after a year or two, or five for that
matter,” says JC Stites.
The Technology Entrepreneur
Award given to JC was one of ten awards presented at the third annual Top TeN
Awards for Excellence in Technology dinner on October 19, 2004. The event was
hosted by the Technology Network of the Greater Louisville Region, a local
organization of technology and technology-related businesses working to grow the
area’s tech industry.
JC’s inclusion in the Forty Under 40 list was also
an outstanding achievement. Forty Under 40 is an annual list created by
Louisville’s leading business publication, Business First. Nominees include over
200 business people and civic leaders from the Louisville area that have made
great strides in their work and/or civic duties and are under the age of forty.
A panel of judges selects the forty candidates to be included on the list and
profiled in a special publication released by Business
First.
And finally, Greater Louisville Inc. presented
Autodemo with a Work/Life Alliance award in honor of Autodemo’s dedication to
its employees. Greater Louisville, Inc., Louisville, Kentucky’s Chamber of
Commerce, honors organizations in the Louisville region that strive to help
employees maintain a work/life balance. Because of JC’s management style,
flexible work schedules, top-notch benefits—including a workout room—and routine
company outings, the judges had little difficulty placing Autodemo in the top
ten of all small companies to be awarded the Work/Life Alliance Award.
“These awards are a real honor for me and my company, and the credit goes to
all of my employees. It’s amazing to work with such a gifted group of people,”
says JC Stites.
