Messaging Architects supports Novell in the launch of GroupWise 7 open beta and demonstrates applications running on a GroupWise 7 open Beta System with 400,000 users.

(PRWEB) July 2, 2005 -- Messaging Architects, a leading provider of policy, security, and mobility solutions for GroupWise, took a front-line role in supporting Novell's launch of GroupWise 7 at the GroupWise EMEA Summit taking place in The Hague on June 28-29, 2005. As a major sponsor of the event, Messaging Architects reiterated its solid dedication to both the GroupWise developer community and its GroupWise client base by offering partner training and product demonstrations of its enterprise-class solutions.

The showcase of the demonstration was having GWGuardian, Messaging Architects' Advanced Email Firewall application protecting a live GroupWise 7 Open Beta system that was scaled for demonstration purposes to include over 400,000 user accounts and mailboxes on a clustered server. At the Summit, Novell announced the immediate availability of the Open Beta of GroupWise 7. GroupWise 7 is expected to ship to customers later this summer.

During his keynote address and at the press conference following it, Ed Anderson, Vice-President of Product Marketing at Novell, reiterated the core values of GroupWise as a reliable, secure, and accessible messaging system. The launch of GroupWise 7 continues Novell’s commitment to provide enterprise customers with a powerful and tightly integrated collaboration experience.
