TULSA, OK (PRWEB) December 15, 2004 -- TechLite, Inc. (www.techlite.com) of Tulsa,
Oklahoma (OTC Bulletin Board: THLT) has agreed to become a major distributor of
Frigi-Tech, a halogenated hydrocarbon compound used to improve mechanical
efficiency of refrigeration, air conditioning, chiller, heat pump, and
hermetically sealed lubrication systems.
The US Department of Energy has
mandated that all new A/C units have a 30% energy reduction by 2006. By adding
Frigi-Tech and the American Society of Heating Refrigerating and
Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) award winning OAM Oil Purger to its product
line TechLite is in a positive position to help its old and new customers save
additional energy (money) and comply with government mandates relating to
reducing Energy consumption.
When Frigi-Tech is added to compressor
refrigerant streams, Frigi-Tech acts immediately to reduce internal friction
between refrigerant and metal surfaces and to enhance heat-exchange capability.
Frigi-Tech reduces power consumption, provides oxidation and corrosion
protection, and extends the useful life of capital equipment. It is compatible
with all popular refrigerant compounds.
In a thirty-eight day controlled
test at Rockwell Space Operations in Houston, Frigi-Tech was added to the
refrigerant stream of one of two 20 ton dual stage compressors. Of the two
identical compressors, Frigi-Tech was added to the compressor with normal power
consumption 25 percent higher than its companion compressor. Some eight days
after treatment with Frigi-Tech, the power consumption of the treated compressor
was consistently at or below that of the untreated compressor. The economic
payback period to treat all of the facility’s thirty dual-compressor units was
projected to be ten months.
TechLite president, J.D. Arvidson states,
“We are pleased to add Frigi-Tech to our line of energy conservation products
and services. Power costs are a major contributor to every organization’s
operating overhead. TechLite‘s products and services help reduce the cost of
operating a building by 20% or more: All TechLite upgrades simply pay for
themselves by a reduction in the utility bill.”
Frigi-Tech is
manufactured by Frigi-Tech International, Inc., headquartered in Houston,
Texas.
