Thousand Hills Golf Resort Supports U.S. Military with 50% Discount

Thousand Hills Golf Resort supports US Military personnel and military retirees by increasing their military discount to 50%.

BRANSON,MO (PRWEB) April 4, 2005 -- Thousand Hills Golf Resort, a resort destination in Branson, MO, is showing its support of those who serve our country by increasing the military discount to 50% for current military personnel and retirees.

The new discount came in time for the Fort Leonard Wood Travel Expo on February 27th, an event designed to promote a variety of Branson area businesses, including theme parks, attractions, hotels, theaters, sporting events, concerts and other recreational activities. Condos at Thousand Hills are now 50% off, and cabins are now 35% off.

“The Expo was a success,” said Dan Ruda, owner of Thousand Hills. “It was a great way for us to let military personnel and their families know we’re here, and to show that we support them.”

Thousand Hills also gave away complimentary two-night stays, free rounds of golf, shirts, hats and golf balls.

Ruda is now looking forward to welcoming the influx of Vietnam Veterans who will be coming to Branson for the Vietnam Veteran Homecoming Event, held June 13th-19th. This first-ever national event is designed to provide veterans the homecoming they never had, and will include demonstrations, displays, and golf and fishing tournaments. Including veterans and their families and friends, 100,000 participants from across the country are expected to attend.

“We’re glad to have the opportunity to show our support to Vietnam Veterans and military personnel. Branson’s welcome to 100,000 visitors will really give businesses in town the opportunity to showcase what a great resort destination Branson is. We’re hoping it will give people a taste of what we have to offer, and make them want to come back again,” said Ruda.

Thousand Hills Golf Resort is located close to the Branson Veterans Museum and other Branson attractions, and features an award-winning golf course that ranks as the most popular in Branson. The resort offers a variety of recreational activities for the whole family, including tennis and swimming.
