South Portland, ME (PRWEB) April 5, 2005 -- TRIPSwithPETS.com has announced a
new online travel column that comes straight from the doggie’s mouth! Pepper, an
8 year old black lab, is TWP’s senior travel dog. Pepper has quite a travel
resume and she is now sharing her knowledge with pet travelers in her new travel
column, appropriately named “Dear Pepper”. She has the point-of-view that human
pet travel experts don’t have, she has the pet perspective! “Dear Pepper”
specializes in inquiries that people and their pets don’t normally know where to
go to ask.
Pepper does her best to sniff out information on pet friendly
accommodations, destinations, transportation, recreational activities, as well
as general pet travel issues. “We were receiving so many inquiries from pet
travelers that we thought it was high time we put our top dog on the job,”
comments Kim Salerno, TRIPSwithPETS.com, President. “Creating an online travel
column to share some of these questions and answers further helps pet travelers
with common issues,” adds Salerno.
Pepper has already helped many pet
travelers get to where they want to go. Like Bill M. of Portland, OR who
recently took a job across country and not only had to move himself but also
move his two cats. He needed help sorting through all the different airline pet
policies so that he could get his cats transported safely. “I felt so
overwhelmed when faced with flying my cats. Each airline has its own rules and
regulations and sorting through them was a bit daunting. Pepper helped decipher
all that and was such a big help!” said Bill. And then there was Ann T. and her
waterdog Rufus, who were looking for pet-friendly beaches on the gulf coast of
Florida. Pepper was able to dig up the dirt and point them in the right
direction.
“Dear Pepper” was created to help pet travelers get to where
they want to go. Visit the “Dear Pepper” travel column at http://www.tripswithpets.com/dearpepper.asp or send pet travel
inquiries to Pepper at e-mail protected from spam bots. She is looking forward
to helping pet travelers find their way to welcome, happy, and safe
travels.
