LoadPod, the Nation's Leader In iPod Loading Services, Gears Up for 2005 Holiday Season With Three New iPod Services
LoadPod, the company the invented the iPod loading industry in 2004, has launched three new digital music services in time for the 2005 Holiday Season.
(PRWEB) September 6, 2005 -- LoadPod, the company that created the iPod
loading industry, has begun offering three new services in time for the upcoming
2005 Holiday Season, as part of its stable of nationwide in-person iPod
services. In early 2004, LoadPod became the first-ever company to begin loading
iPod users' existing CD collections into their iPods for them, by assembling a
nationwide network of more than one hundred local service professionals. This
focus on local, in-person service ensured that no LoadPod customer would ever
need to ship his or her fragile CD collection across the country in order to
receive service. By offering free home pickup and delivery of equipment anywhere
in the United States, LoadPod was able to offer a unique nationwide service that
has yet to be matched by any other company on any level.
In time for the
2005 Holiday Season, LoadPod has launched a new service in which customers who
have lost the data on their computer due to a crash or drive failure can have
the music in their iPod copied back into iTunes on their computer. This new
in-home service allows iPod users who find themselves in such a situation to
avoid the complicated and little-understood process of moving music from their
iPod to their computer. As with all LoadPod services, the new iPod-to-computer
transfer service is available nationwide.
In recognition of the fact that
all full-size iPod models now come with color screens capable of displaying
album artwork, LoadPod has also recently added an album artwork option for those
customers with color-screen iPods. Although iPods don't generally display album
artwork for music that was loaded from CDs, this new service allows customers to
have album artwork attached to every song that LoadPod loads into their
iPod.
LoadPod has also recently announced that in addition to its iPod
loading service, customers can now opt to instead have their CDs loaded into
their external USB hard drive. This allows music lovers to have their entire CD
collection in compressed digital format even if they have yet to purchase an
iPod, or if the size of their CD collection exceeds the capacity of their iPod.
LoadPod's new hard drive loading service is available nationwide, and customers
can choose their preferred format and bitrate at no additional
charge.
"Last year we invented the iPod loading industry, but this year
has proven to be even more exciting as we've continued to lead our industry with
new offerings and services designed to help the nation's twenty-five million
iPod users get the most out of their investment with the least amount of
hassle," said Bill Palmer, LoadPod's President and Founder. "Our customers asked
for these three new services, and we're proud to have all of them immediately
available nationwide as we head into the 2005 Holiday Season. The iPod is once
again going to be the hottest-selling holiday gift this year, and we look
forward to embracing these new iPod users with open arms. We've loaded millions
of songs into thousands of iPods, and our service has proven to be so popular
among iPod users that we've added additional personnel in major cities in order
to ensure that we'll keep up with the ever-increasing demand for our
services."
All of LoadPod's services are available nationwide by placing
an order on LoadPod's website at http://www.LoadPod.com or by calling toll-free 1-866-LOADPOD
(562-3763). LoadPod President and Founder Bill Palmer is available for
interviews with print, radio, and television media and can be contacted by using
the Media Inquiry Form on the contact page of the LoadPod Website.
