PocketMac® for PSP Connects Macintoshes & Play Station Portables for the First Time
The Macintosh Connectivity Software Enables Users to Synch information to their Play Station Handheld Devices
La Jolla, CA (PRWEB) April 7, 2005 -- Information Appliance Associates (IAA),
creators of industry-leading Macintosh connectivity solutions, announces the new
release of PocketMac for Play Station Portable.
"We're incredibly
excited," said Terence Goggin, CTO of Information Appliance Associates. "After 4
months of engineering and testing, we're proud to release this unique tool that
for the first time gives Mac users the ability to sync with PSP
handhelds”.
PocketMac for PSP extends the popular PocketMac technology to
this new device, allowing users to synchronize the following information from
their Mac to their PSP:
- Contacts - Using a new patent-pending means of
converting contacts into compact images, PocketMac for PSP syncs these images to
the PSP device, making it possible to carry your contacts with you on your PSP.
The program supports synching data from Microsoft Entourage and Apple’s OS X
Address Book.
- Music - PocketMac for PSP users can now sync directly from
iTunes into their PSP.
- Photos - Users can sync photos from within iPhoto to
their Play Station portable.
Goggin continued, “With PocketMac for PSP,
Mac users can do more than PC users can. With the unique patent-pending ability
to sync contacts to their PSP, music from iTunes and pictures from iPhoto,
there’s nothing a Mac-based PSP user can’t do.
The program syncs directly
over USB cable or through memory stick technology.
"This new product
extends the PocketMac technology to the next level — Playstation Portable
devices," Goggin added.
PocketMac for PSP retails for
$14.95.
