SOS Fund "Statues of Servicemen"
Due to the success of the SOS Fund.us "Wear Camo" campaign, the SOS Fund.us "Statues of Servicemen" campaign has begun sculpturing statues of servicemen killed in the War on Terror.
(PRWEB) May 5, 2005 -- Now, for the first time in American history, the
fallen heroes in The War on Terror who have given their lives for the security
of our nation will be personally memorialized in the towns and cities where they
lived.
The SOS Fund - Statues of Servicemen - will unveil the statue
during the presentation of the Navy Cross to Capt. Brent Morel in Memphis
Tennessee, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 21st, 2005, at The Memphis Marine Corps
Reserve Unit, 3114 Jackson Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee.
The SOS Fund and
the Department Of Defense are working together to begin the Statues of
Servicemen campaign to build bronze bust statues of the fallen heroes in the War
on Terror. These statues will be placed in City and Town Halls and Government
Buildings throughout the United States to memorialize the brave men and women
who have given their lives in the War on Terror.
The SOS Fund Statues of
Servicemen will be “showcased” by the Department Of Defense for the DoD Military
Awareness Month program now in progress in Washington. Point of Contact: Carla

The Statues of Servicemen is partially financed by the
success of our previous program, SOS Desert Camouflage Wristbands. These have
become one of the most popular wristbands in America, making a patriotic fashion
statement for the troops.
The unveiling of the first The SOS Fund
statue, PFC Daniel McClenney, occurred on April 22, 2005 in Shelbyville,
Tennessee, along with Daniel McClenney's Silver Star Presentation by his
commanding Officer, Lt. Col. J. D. Alford. Referrels for positive feedback of
the event: Major Thomas Little, Nashville Marine Base Commander e-mail protected

Congressman Lamar Alexander, e-mail protected from spam bots 615-736-5129.
NOTE: Since our Statues of Servicemen relies heavily of the sale of our
Wear Camo Desert Camouflage Wristbands, it is critical that the sosfund.us
website is mentioned.
