(PRWEB) June 4, 2005 -- To commemorate the Memorial Day, Home Movie Depot
will be posting exclusive private footage of different events throughout
military history on the Home Movie Depot website, www.homemoviedepot.com.
Several Home Movie Depot customers have volunteered their films to be
featured on the website. The movies will be featured from Monday, May 30 through
Monday, June 6, then subsequently catalogued for further viewing by customer
permission.
These amateur films document such things
as decommissioned naval ships and offices and areas from overseas military
bases. The 8mm films date back to the 1960s, making them upwards of 40 years
old.
“Our goal is to help people have fun with their memories. I think
that these film will be very interesting to both veterans and historians” says
Gerald McKinney, Home Movie Depot President.

in the transfer of 8mm film, super8 film, 16mm films, camcorder tapes, and video
tapes to DVD. Home Movie Depot is located in Ashland, MO
