SofTrek Receives Recognition for Support of Tsunami Fundraising Efforts
PledgeMaker On-Line Fundraising Software aids in helping Catholic Relief Services raise 146 million dollars to support tsunami victims.

received an Outstanding Achievement award for supporting Catholic Relief
Services (CRS) fundraising efforts during the recent tsunami crisis. CRS

million raised for tsunami survivors.

after the tsunami, CRS fundraising activities quickly began raising dollars for

On-Line team loaded over 325,000 transactions to raise over $146 million. “The

the whole process went without a hitch,” added Melia.
CRS has utilized
PledgeMaker Online as its core system for four years. The use of the software is
critical to their operation and the ability to maintain their mission. CRS
decided early on they needed high availability, without impact on the other
operations within CRS. The CRS database consists of about one million records,
and. must support 50 or more concurrent CRS users.
